A terracotta clay brooch, cut from a hand rolled slab of clay.
 
It features a deep yellow crawl glaze, black slip and 23 carat gold leaf, which will stay beautifully shiny and not tarnish over time. Fired in an electric kiln to 1055ºC.
 
Approximately 4.5 cm Diameter.
 
A silver plated brooch back 34mm in length has been attached with a heavy duty epoxy resin adhesive.
