A black clay brooch, cut from a hand rolled slab of clay.
 
It features a turquoise / grey barium glaze and a white crawl glaze. Fired in an electric kiln to 1055ºC.
 
Approximately 4.5 cm Diameter.
 
A silver plated brooch back 34mm in length has been attached with a heavy duty epoxy resin adhesive.
